Job Description
Embark on an exciting journey with OSM Thome as a 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook on an offshore seismic/research vessel. Based in Durban, you'll be integral to our culinary team, supporting the Head Cook in delivering high-quality meals to crew members.
Assist the Head Cook
in preparing and cooking meals.Maintain kitchen hygiene
and food safety standards.Assist with inventory control
and stock management.Participate in menu planning
and provisioning. Proven experience in a similar role at sea. Certificate in culinary or equivalent qualification. Strong understanding of food safety regulations. * Team player with excellent organizational skills.
