2828_JavaScript Full Stack Developer
Location: Gauteng
Contract Term: 1 July 2024 - 31 December 2026ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED (in sequence of importance):
I In sequence of importance:
1. NodeJS (typescript and javascript) xe2x80x93 expert knowledge
2. React and backend development xe2x80x93 expert knowledge
3. noSQL DB (mongo, redis) xe2x80x93 expert knowledge
4. Docker, Docker Compose
5. Thorough understanding of Git processes xe2x80x93 expert knowledge
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
1. Experience with AWS, EKS
2. Jest testing framework experience
3. Experience with micro frontend frameworks
4. Experience with trunk-based development
5. GraphQL
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
xc2xb7 IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications
xc2xb7 Minimum 15+ years of IT experience
xc2xb7 Minimum 8 years TypeScript / JavaScript experience
xc2xb7 Minimum 2 years working with well-known front-end frameworks (for example React)
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
xc2xb7 Design, Development and maintenance on platform
xc2xb7 Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
xc2xb7 Review code of team members in line with quality and delivery requirements
xc2xb7 Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required
xc2xb7 Compiling of user and operational manuals
xc2xb7 2nd and 3rd level technical operational support for developers (technical end users developing on the platform)
xc2xb7 Provide Technical guidance & mentorship
xc2xb7 Ensure software availability, maintainability and scalability
xc2xb7 Active participation in Agile ceremonies
xc2xb7 Deployments / Releases
xc2xb7 Planning and monitoring
xc2xb7 Requirements management and communication
