2611_Agile Master
Location: Gauteng
Contract Term: 1 May 2024 - 31 December 2026ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
xc2xb7 Ability to manage a technical team using agile methodologies.
xc2xb7 Leadership skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
xc2xb7 Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (e.g., numerous Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
xc2xb7 KPI monitoring and ITSM reporting / feedback.
xc2xb7 Ability to manage a technical / operational team using agile methodologies.
xc2xb7 Strong presentation skills
xc2xb7 Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
xc2xb7 Excellent knowledge and experience in applying Agile scaled models (e.g., SAFe, Nexus, LeSS)
xc2xb7 Knowledge of BMW Agile Working Model and ITPM (Advantageous)
xc2xb7 Excellent proficiency in the Agile Tool Chain (JIRA, Confluence, X-Ray, BitBucket)
xc2xb7 Understanding the IT Travel Management system and ZA Hub team set up
xc2xb7 German language understanding
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
xc2xb7 IT Degree and or Agile Master Certified 6+ years of Project Management experience or equivalent qualifications
xc2xb7 Scrum Master Qualification / Certification
xc2xb7 At least 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the IT/Software DevOps industry is essential
xc2xb7 One or more of the below:
o Professional Scrum Master IIIxe2x84xa2
o Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Masterxc2xae (scrumailliance.org)
o Certified SAFexc2xae Program Consultant (scaledagile.com)
o Certified SAFexc2xae Agilisit (scaledagile.com)
o Scale Professional Scrumxe2x84xa2 (scrum.org)
o Certified SAFe Release Train engineer (scaledagile.com)
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
xc2xb7 Provides active and regular mentorship to other Agile Masters
xc2xb7 Supports multiple Feature Teams in complex Products / Sub-products up to Domain level
xc2xb7 Provides key insights into the evolution of Agile KPIs in complex Agile Teams to improve efficiencies at an organisational level
xc2xb7 Contributes significant value in relevant CoPs through active leadership
xc2xb7 Guides the team on the use and application of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices
xc2xb7 Aligns within bigger teams to ensure good collaboration and value adding outcomes
xc2xb7 Collaborates with Product Owners and colleagues across multiple sites/locations
xc2xb7 Gives structure to workshops and meetings to lead and facilitate the teamxe2x80x99s Agile way of working. This includes facilitating discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
xc2xb7 Assesses the agile maturity of the team and organisation and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team/projects
xc2xb7 Assists with internal and external communication and improving transparency. Demonstrates the status / performance of the team as key element
xc2xb7 Supports the Product Owner with grooming processes, product backlog management and sprint refinement
xc2xb7 Assists with project- and team coordination tasks when required
xc2xb7 Regularly update and improve product confluence pages & documentation within the Product
