Qualifications:
Matric/Grade 12
Certificate / Diploma Engineering/Construction
3-5 years Petrochemical projects experience
Key responsibilities include:
The job specification aligns with that of a typical 8.1(a) Construction Manager appointment.
Overseeing daily site construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and permit-to-work procedures. * Managing and coordinating the construction team, including foremen and subcontractors.
- Preparing and submitting daily site progress reports and maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Interpreting and working from engineering drawings and project plans.
- Planning, scheduling, and tracking progress against project timelines.
- Coordinating with engineering and project management teams to resolve on-site technical issues.
- Ordering and controlling materials, tools, and equipment as required.
