The IT Manager will lead Ctrack's technology infrastructure and IT operations. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the IT department-- including systems, infrastructure, support, budgeting, and project delivery and ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence.
Main Job Functions:

Strategic IT Planning
Develop and implement short- and long-term IT strategies in alignment with overall business objectives. Identify technology solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, and scalability.
Monitor industry trends and recommend technology upgrades or innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
IT Team Leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
Delegate responsibilities effectively, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations.
Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture within the department.
Infrastructure & Systems Management
Oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud environments.
Ensure system availability, reliability, and optimal performance through regular monitoring and upgrades.
Implement and manage disaster recovery and data backup processes.
Oversee maintenance of Generator's and other power related equipment.
IT Support Operations
Lead the IT helpdesk and ensure timely, effective support to internal users.
Establish and enforce IT service standards, support protocols, and escalation procedures.
Monitor user feedback and continuously improve service delivery.
Project Management
Plan and execute IT projects such as software deployments, hardware rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades.
Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and stakeholder communication.
Use formal project management methodologies to ensure project success.
Budgeting and Cost Control
Develop and manage the annual IT budget, including forecasting and expense tracking.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency in IT procurement and operations.
Justify IT expenditures through ROI and value assessments.
Vendor and Asset Management
Source and manage technology vendors, service providers, and licensing agreements.
Negotiate contracts and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and warranties.
Documentation & Process Optimization
Create and maintain documentation for systems configurations, IT procedures, and policies.
Develop user guides, onboarding manuals, and technical support documents.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement automation where feasible.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
ITIL Foundation, PMP, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
Minimum 10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
----------------------------------------
Strong understanding of systems administration, networking, databases, and enterprise software.
Proficiency in IT infrastructure technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, virtualization, cloud platforms).
Familiarity with IT project management tools and service desk platforms.
Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Analytical thinking and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
