Role Title (Role Level): Java Cloud Developer (Senior)
Location: Gauteng (Hybrid) (Willing and able to travel internationally)
Contract Term: 1 March 2024 - 31 December 2026

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
xc2xb7 JAVA EE / JAVA
xc2xb7 Excellent Java development experience
xc2xb7 Angular

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
xc2xb7 RESTful and SOAP services
xc2xb7 Design and develop Microservices with deep understanding of API based development experience
xc2xb7 SQL (Oracle, Postgres)
xc2xb7 Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure
xc2xb7 GIT
xc2xb7 SAP Integration
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
xc2xb7 10+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in relevant programming environment
xc2xb7 On premise virtualisation technology expertise
xc2xb7 Experience in testing (manual or automated testing
xc2xb7 Web and digital project experience advantageous
xc2xb7 Agile working experience advantageous
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
xc2xb7 Part of a DevOps team responsible for development and maintenance on platform/application
xc2xb7 Review and present proposed system solution to IT Project Manager / Leader and User Management or System owner
xc2xb7 Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
xc2xb7 Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
xc2xb7 Meet with end users and gather requirements
xc2xb7 Facilitate daily stand-ups
xc2xb7 Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required
xc2xb7 User training
xc2xb7 Compiling of user and operational manuals
xc2xb7 System audits
xc2xb7 User sign off
