1082 Fixed-term Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Practitioner (P9)
GOVERNANCE, RISK & COMPLIANCE Health, Safety & Environmental Sustainability
Bloemfontein Campus
Main purpose of the job
Monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and ensuring that the occupational health, safety and environmental management plan is implemented
Main tasks * Coordinate HSE activities on campuses.
- Provide risk management support.
- Provide general HSE administration.
- Ensure submission of reports.
- Assist in development and Implementation of HSE management system and review thereof.
- Construction Management.
- Establishment of HSE committees.
- Communicable disease control.
- Emergency Management.
- Event Management.
- Accident / Incident.
- HSE compliance training.
- Coordinate HSE project.
Minimum salary scale (Total Cost to Company): R 641 532 per annum
Note: CUT applies an internal parity model to determine remuneration that complies with the principle of equal pay for work of equal value. Accordingly, the preferred candidate may expect an offer that is in line with their qualifications and years of similar experience. Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience
- Advanced Diploma in Environmental Health or Safety Management or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the HPCSA in a relevant field.
- Two (2) years practical experience in the field..
- Post-graduate Diploma in Environmental Health or Safety Management or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP)
- Four (4) years practical experience in the field.
