We have central support functions of Human Resources, IT, Finance, Legal and Marketing & Innovation in the Rentokil Initial Head Office locations and in the country.

Requirements To support the Finance Team in delivering accurate reporting as well as meeting profit and operating cash flow targets for South Africa and African markets

KEY WORK OUTPUTS and ACCOUNTABILITY

• Ensure all cashbook entries are timeously captured.
• Review and load weekly and monthly payment batches for Sub-Sahara Africa banks. Ensuring the payments are within the companyxe2x80x99s policies.
• Perform Balance sheet recons on Bank accounts and ensure any reconciling items are followed up and resolved with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure Cashflow is maximised by driving the business to spend with approved vendors on payment terms.
• Ensure requested treasury data with respect to internal, external and BEE audits are provided timeously.
• Assist will Bank mandate and credit card management
• Review and management branch petty cash
• Assist the Finance Accountant in ad-hoc duties

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A relevant degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance
• 2-3 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with all candidates & key stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (especially Microsoft Excel) and Google suite
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
• Microsoft Navision experience would be beneficial
