Pastry ChefVacancyA vacancy is available at Lodge Kitchen in our 4 Star Restaurant as a Pastry Chef. The position reports to the Executive Chef.Job Purpose:

  • Ensure that all standard recipes and presentations are being followed.
  • Insure all menu items are of the highest quality and no compromises made.
  • Proper hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Adhere to SOP's.
Requirements:
  • Relevant chef qualification is required
  • Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pastry Chef
  • Work without the head chef when required
  • Strong personality that can work under pressure
  • Well-spoken and well-presented individual
  • Must be able to work shifts and long hours
  • Working Public Holiday's and Sunday's
  • Must have transport
