Reconcile actual equipment component performance vs total cost of ownership
Develop equipment preventive maintenance plans with a focus on preventive maintenance and component replacement schedules
Professionally and systematically define, design, develop and implement an Asset Maintenance Plan that includes value-added preventive maintenance tasks and predictive testing to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems
Develop a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related risks
Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant operations
Analyze root cause failure and provide corrective action recommendations
Provide reliability reporting by site/model
Review maintenance parts lists for accuracy of parts information and align with Global TCO team
Collect and analyze information on the equipment reliability of parts and components
Participate in defect elimination projects to identify inherent reliability of a part, component or system and develop the required maintenance strategies
Develop a monthly business impact analysis report
Assess and action condition-based information for critical equipment
Perform equipment strategy reviews and failure analysis to ensure that all task lists, and work instructions remain accurate and relevant

Qualifications
Relevant engineering/technical qualification (degree/diploma or trade qualification)
Proficient with RCM processes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels including internal and external stakeholders, middle management level, contractors and other specialists.
Strong track record of implementing a globally designed strategic approach towards the application of technical expertise in Reliability Engineering Principles in a complex, matrix structured global resources organization.
Strong stakeholder management
Advanced understanding of the full mining value chain and its key drivers.
Working knowledge of Mobile Maintenance operating, maintaining principles, reliability concepts (FMECA, RCM), work management processes and reporting.
Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills
Extensive knowledge of Maintenance Management System
Knowledge of Maintenance process and activities Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in reliability engineering
Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis
Demonstrated experience in equipment life cycle cost modelling.
Project Management and Change Management experience in the resourcing industry
Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering and/or asset management/asset integrity from mining or heavy industry
