Specification 1.Bachelor's Degree/B-Tech in Human Resources Management or Public Administration 2.A minimum of 3 years' working experience with extensive knowledge of all relevant Labour legislation, Recruitment, IR and training methodologies 3.Experience working in a multi-cultural environment will be an added advantage
Requirements 1.Overseeing the recruitment process 2.Coordination efforts between payroll, human resources, budget and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports, e.g. overtime, leave balances, head count, and retirement contribution reports) 3.Manage employee data changes in handling the administration of payroll 4.Ensuring that personal files are 100% accurate (for both citizens and non-citizens) in accordance with the check list 5.Maintenance of the VIP Premier HR System 6.Responsible for scheduling a range of human resources development issues including staff development and trainings. 7.Leading the delivery of training and development programmes and, in a junior role, devising a training strategy for the organisation 8.Enlighten staff members on disciplinary matters and procedures 9. To lead the BUSAC (Botho University Staff Activity Committee) and arrange activities, conduct meetings and events. 10. Maintain the HR portal to ensure that it is updated with current details all the time and liaise with projects office 11. Identifying Training and development needs with BU with the on-going, long term improvement of employees' skills enabling them to fulfil their potential within their department and in the University
