Call the hotline toll free number: 0800 003 056 or email Operating Division : TPT Port Elizabeth MPT Position Title : Revenue Billing Snr Admin Lvl 2 Employee Group : Permanent Department : Finance Location : Port Elizabeth Reporting To : Management Accountant Grade Level : TPTI2X Reference Number : 20002901 Position Purpose : Accept customer orders , timeously and accurately check and process the orders in line with the Revenue Standard Operating Procedures and SARS requirements Position outputs : 1. Check that all customer's orders and relevant documentation comply with TPT SOP and customs & Excise requirement 2. Ensure that the correct contract numbers , cargo codes and tariffs are applied to each other 3. Once all TPT SOP and customs requirements are met , process the orders on SAP 4. Capture all "actuals" for landing / shipping /transshipping orders and raise storage charges 5. Split & Distribute the orders as per TPT Standard Operating Procedures 6. If customer credit limits are exceeded , notify the AR Controller immediately for further action 7. Maintain vessel arrival information on SAP 8. Filing and other adhoc functions

Qualifications & Experience : EDUCATION:

  • Matric with Accounting

  • 1 year to 2 years
  • Be prepared to work extended hours and be on standby

Competencies : Knowledge of Container terminal handling services
Knowledge of invoicing Policies and procedures
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Knowledge of invoicing and tariffing system (Corebis)
Knowledge of operation systems (CTCS)
Knowledge of the Container Terminal business
Knowledge of the SAPO tariff book
Thorough knowledge of Container terminal revenue.
