Gopperth Contracting is a professional business servicing the harvesting and cropping needs of Clients throughout South Taranaki. Established in 2000, Gopperth Contracting is proud of the strong relationships held with Clients and staff, employing up to 25 people at the peak of the season. The contracting fleet is made up of 18 modern tractors and the workshop is an organised as well as critical part of the business. To be considered for this Workshop management role applicants will have at least 3 years' experience servicing, maintaining and repairing large agri-machinery and implements. Personal attributes sought include; strong communication and organisational skills, problem solving abilities, reliability as well as a positive attitude, with a mechanically minded outlook. Knowledge of the South Taranaki area would be beneficial.

The Workshop Manager will be responsible for;
  • Maintenance, repair and scheduled servicing of fleet
  • Mechanical Engineering and welding
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Attending breakdowns on or off-site
  • Inventory and account management
  • Workshop presentation
  • Health and safety
  • Machinery operation

There is an attractive hourly rate range of $25 - $35 per hour (dependent on experience) to be offered to the preferred candidate, along with other benefits.
